Horror movie enthusiasts delight in the idea of a zombie apocalypse. So much so that some people have promulgated “how to kill a zombie” guides on the internet. Although there is plenty of information on the web about how to kill zombies, there is little information about how to a kill a more imminent threat: Google robots.

Decapitation
Burn it up
Drench it in water
Run it over with a car
Blind its sensors
Upload a computer virus to its software
Unplug

So if a human kills a robot would that be considered murder?

European Parliament Committee Wants Robot Rights

The draft report, approved by 17 votes to two and two abstentions by the European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs, proposes that "The most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific rights and obligations, including that of making good any damage they may cause."

...creating a specific legal status for robots, so that at least the most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific rights and obligations, including that of making good any damage they may cause, and applying electronic personality to cases where robots make smart autonomous decisions or otherwise interact with third parties independently

Far too often in the age of clickbait are we admonished to ‘Stop everything’ by news headlines. Today, however, we're entirely justified:

Robot Wars is back.

I guess the owner of a particular robot certainly would.

How to Ungoogle Yourself

As you surf the bitstream, you leave a digital trail of words and photos that are picked up and indexed by Google's robots, then offered for anybody to see. By the time your name hits Google, there is virtually nothing you can do about it—even if you're a U.S Presidential candidate. Google has claimed that they do not remove content from search results unless that content is illegal or violates their guidelines.[1] However, there are things you can to un-Google yourself, and steps you can take to reduce your exposure in the future.
