Good independent internet forums are brilliant mediums unlike nonother as it's a free flow of information that literally turn into lives of their own if it's well run and relatively unbiased. Far too many other forums have their own agendas but this site is all about learning and thinking.

With that thought in mind, let's give this thread a bit of twist and show a video that's a far cry from the original post.

Is this the future of humanity?

Albeit a narrow-minded view of America but it certainly has it's global implications:

Same behavior as when Cain killed Abel. Same shit, different day. It's always through force in one form or another that drives people forward.

Wait until he politicians cell us out and are replaced with psychologists and technocrats to lead our great communal machines. Telling us all they can stop the violence and hate with a new machine to mark all our time and regulate all value a human being creates. With the new eyes and ears everywhere Social networking will be a blast. Conform to the clouded perceptions within the book of faces or face banishment to the outer limits of the status quo. All along google is giggling in the background feeding all of humanities thoughts into the big giant head. Everyone will be judged with laughable likes and disabling dislikes. Your status will be constantly updated with new apps and notifications to better serve you with massive overloads of dopamine enhanced chocolate.

Charlie Chaplin wasn't the only one..

A lot of the old horror movies in the silent era were made by individuals who came back from WW1. The imagery is stark and the story telling techniques reflect the dark visions they encountered during their time in hell. I've heard tales of the famous Lon Chaney from that era. He brought this attitude into his characters on film. Many are horrific in nature.

Movies can make us laugh, they can be shocking, and they can make people think in whatever era they come from. It's interesting how much they have evolved since their inception upon society.

Of course, the studios would hype their movies to the max. They still do. Including hiring actors to scream and run out of the theater, paying ambulance drivers to show up and run their sirens, and keeping scripts secret almost to the very end...all to build up an artificial hype almost beyond endurance.

..and it works!

Germans were amplified by these silent movies. Primed and re-primed again with psychological misery to accept a madman to lead them out of bondage. This film study of Germany's silent film era reflect these flickering ideas.

It also seems as if these movies are actual occultist rituals on film and shown to the public for 'mass' consumption. History shows the effects these types of dark ideas ca cause. It takes advantage of the continuing malaise felt by the world after WW1 propagating something more to come.

Mass propaganda and metaphorical ideas brought into public consciousness through film, music, and art can be achieved on purpose for a purpose to bring forth common prophecy. The feeling and emotion brought into being with these mediums does affect large masses of people.

Notice the contrast with Hollywood in the same period. Different types of emotions presented yet are of the same medium. All brought together for the massive climax of WW2.

Silent movies offer a means of communication that transcends the spoken language. The posterity of these works are an historical example into how big business interests can drive a society with ISMs and ideals on massive scale. Leaving it a dry husk devoid of being...
