L.A. to declare 'state of emergency' on homelessness, commit $100 million

http://www.latimes.c...0921-story.html

Acknowledging their failure to stem a surge in homelessness, Los Angeles’ elected leaders on Tuesday said they would declare a “state of emergency” and devote up to $100 million to the problem. But they offered few details about where the money would come from or how it would be spent, leaving some to question the effort’s chances of success.

Record Homelessness in Los Angeles -- But Nobody Blames the Democrats

Now, what stuns me about this are two things.  How does this happen in a city that is run by compassionate, caring, concerned, and high taxing leftists?  Furthermore, not just the city, in a state run by compassionate, concerned, big spender, high-taxing leftists, how does this happen?  Why isn't California a utopia?  You can't blame the Republicans.  They aren't even a factor.  The Republicans can't mount enough votes to even get noticed on anything, much less stop something.  No, no, no, folks, I'm not asking a rhetorical question.  I'm damn serious here.

Rush blaming the democrats once again.  Hey Rush, why don't you paint the Washington Monument Pink and Sit on IT!

Blaming Republicans and democrats is a joke!  None of these people give a shit about anyone but themselves.  Blaming each other for all the problems they themselves generate for the rest of us.  They're all bought and paid for like good little shills for corporate greed.

All one hears is shifting blame on this continuing problem. Sure, churches and charity functions help provide ways and means of survival.  These procedural codes that all  'government drones' provide come with caveats:  Do it our way, sign your name here or go back to the street.  Better yet, just die so your carcass' can be rendered into dog food for homeless cats.

ACW-HOMELESS-COPS-4.jpg

Cops in my area are known to sweep in and destroy campsites and possesions of survial. A certain kind of attitude is automatically assumed by these men in uniform towards the homeless.  For the most part, they rip apart your self esteem.  None of these government agencies established to help the homeless do nothing of the sort.  More frustration, more policies, no compasssion.  The system doesn't allow for much leeway in basic human dignity.  Respect and dignity can be found, but only from a few real 'human beings' who ignore the established prodecures and help people with their hearts. These kinds of people are hard to find because most 'drones' are too afraid to lose their own place within the system.

Ever been evicted in the dead of night by a man with a gun?

Shine those bright lights and wake 'em up!

"Get the fuck out NOW!"
"Let's see some ID"

Yeh, johnny lawless, does it feel good to beat down the wretched?

Don't complain too much when getting evicted.  They might make your life even harder and enjoy doing it.  They might even shoot you down like a mangy dog even if you bark a bit!

In New York City, Workers with Full Time Jobs Are Living in Homeless Shelters
http://www.marketwat...15-09-21?page=1

Angelo Torres punches in to work at 5 a.m. each weekday and spends the next eight hours cleaning up debris on Staten Island’s Midland Beach.  It’s a grueling job, says the veteran Parks Department maintenance worker, but also a welcome escape from the uncertainty of living on the streets as one of the city’s more than 300 full-time workers who are homeless.

“I cry every night thinking this isn’t really happening, but it is,” Torres, 45, told The Post.

Put them all in state run camps. Re-educate these worthless rejects!  Better still, deport these wretched rejects.  It'll keep the cost down to those of us who pay our taxes.

Homeless people do manage to stick together.  Homesless people help each other emotionally and spiritually by sharing survival knowledge with each other.  If you've been there you learn to know whom to trust.  The cops don't care. They get paid to inflict more damage upon the psyche of the downtrodden.  None of them can be trusted!  Procedure boys and girls, follow your fucking policies like good little slaves...lest  you become homeless, too!
