Does McDonald's Need a New Mascot?

Whether it's serving french fries or relatively healthy oatmeal, McDonald's can't seem to shake its bad-for-you image.

So along with the "fancy" McCafe coffee and fruit smoothies, how can the chain revamp itself to suit today's health-conscious customers?

quote from the article:  "The system is very lost at the moment," one franchisee wrote. "Our menu boards are still bloated, and we are still trying to be too many things to too many people. ...Things are broken from the franchisee perspective."

:Laughing-rolf: ...bloated!  BLOATED!  That bloody clown has been bloating those Americans for years!

Talk about bloating!  That menu of theirs has gotton fatter than a giant slug.  Kind of like Jabba the Hut!

Last time I ate there I experienced a new phenomena:

The McShits!  Now, the McShits are not like the normal shits.  Ya'll know what I mean!  With the regular shits ya feel all nasty inside for a little bit and then it just spills out in one big whooosh

OMG!

There!

All better.

:smokesmall:

Well, when ya get the McShits, it's a real ballroom blitz kind of shitz!  FUBAR to the max!  A three flush job, if'n ya'll know what I mean.

Better wear a gas mask and bring lots of air freshener.

McDonald's is in even worse shape than we realized.

Profits are crumbling, sales are shrinking and guest traffic is declining all around the world.

Consumers are defecting for healthier and fresher options like Chipotle (CMG), the burrito chain that McDonald's (MCD) sold off almost a decade ago.

The world's largest burger chain announced more depressing results on Wednesday for the first three months of 2015.

The company vows a turnaround plan is coming. It will reveal the "initial details" on May 4. In a preview of what might be coming, McDonald's just announced that it's closing 350 struggling restaurants, mostly in Japan, the U.S. and China.

F*cking rats....

Huge rat filmed gorging on yogurt toppings at a McDonald's restaurant in Thailand

McDonald's has apologised after a rat was filmed inside its desserts station. The pest was seen snacking on fruit and nut toppings in a store in Thailand.
However, a company spokesman blamed the store's neighbours for its pest. Fast-food giant McDonald's has apologised after shocking video footage emerged showing a huge rat helping itself to their yogurt toppings. The video of the rat went viral after it was filmed grazing on fruit and nuts laid out for the eatery’s frozen desserts. But rather than take responsibility, McDonald's bosses in Songkhla, southern Thailand, put the blame on their filthy neighbours operating street food stalls.
