A small cache of stolen military weapons was returned to its Army Reserve base after a homeless man rummaging for recyclables discovered a trash bag loaded with the iron in a Bronx park and alerted police, according to reports.
The 51-year-old homeless man was collecting bottles and cans in Mullaly Park near Yankee Stadium when he came across a trash bag containing three firearms on the morning of Nov. 11, police said.
Ever go dumpster diving?

Makes one wonder what else the homeless find stashed away in hidden hiding places.

I Thought It Was Weird That This Guy Was Digging Through Trash. Then I Realized Why, And It's Brilliant!

In Oakland, California there is an artist named Gregory Kloehn who actually dumpster dives for a living. He collects random pieces of trash and other materials that have otherwise been discarded. What he does with these pieces of garbage is incredible. He uses the garbage and his talents to better his community and hone his skills at the same time.  Kloehn takes the pieces of garbage and builds micro homes to shelter homeless people on the streets of his community. Take a look at these awesome little dwellings.
