Dante is hard. Every time one goes through the comedy one finds more structure and more being, if one chooses to look. For this is a story not only about Dante and his own inner demons, but, it offers a model for others to see within themselves.

Wouldn't it be nice to meet Dante?
Ahh, Only shades!
You see?
What a Statius state of joyful surprise!

Shades of Christ in the Gentile Centurion Poet.
Working in common with both the avarice and the prodigal.
Piecing together and uniting stations in history to form coherency.

Your Inspirations reveal infinity.
Your generous grace lights my way.

Thank you, Lord, for thy divine light!

:rainbowflower2:

Pride

The three steps of white, green, and red signifying purity, hope, and the fire of love.
You have the 7 letters of sin upon thy head, marking thee of the vices one must purge.
As you climb, they are erased, one by one.

Journeying to the center of the Universe is Ultimate Pride!
'Tis only as inner prison vision of an inert single cell.

Visionary descriptions of living sculptures symbolizing stories of humility.
The whole of 'The Comedy' is one.

The jester becomes ALIVE!
Both jokers in the deck: Visible speech!

Drop the rock of pride upon your back!
God is chiseling pieces from His living sculpture.
Are there rivals in Purgatory?

The Visible speech of God's art.

Humility reduces and reminds us we're all earthbound.
Gotta look from the bottom up not from the top down!

In between a superior mirage is not a good place to be.
You'll always be looking down!

Under the dome inside your own head - breaking through the firmament using your imagination

- Visible Speech -

Oh, how vernacular.

In between an inverted mirage is not a good place to be.
You'll always be looking down!

Seems like Christ preferred to hang out with the bottom dwellers here on Earth!

That's pretty good! Much of the imagery created over the centuries, especially the maps, from Dante's work have a similar kind of perception to it.

The visible vernacular of symbolism!

Breaking outside of the self into the dream.
                                         ...beware of false promises...
Especially the ones made to the self.

An inversion of contemplation is a loss of love for the outside world.
Becoming ever more indifferent to the objects of desire because they lack that old luster.
It's appeal is no longer suffice to appease the mind and heart.

The perception of love must unfold from within you.
Discern and discriminate; help the flowers pollinate and bear fruit.
Curb the vanity by realizing that the unknown can strike at anytime.

Free will implies that we are never in bondage.
On the other hand free choice is division among chains...
All those arguments of equality involving the sun and the moon.

Are they are equal?

Are they are equal?

The Church and Monarchy in Dante's time certainly did not think so.
They wanted to set themselves above the firmament.
One above the other even over the waters.

Who gets to rule?

Now you're getting into extreme pride and prejudice!
Greed is prevalent in this kind of behavior....

:D

Learn to rule thyself....

When the outside fails look inside the memory and use your imagination.
It's free from the outside world because it questions whether to love too much or too little.

The fabrics of architectural love are like threads that make up the magic carpet of the mind.
The duality of imagination can be discerned in the stillness and silence of meditation.

It helps to calculate the golden mean between reality and imagination.

Dante is able to use his own past history and that which came before to create his own interpretations for others to navigate the forces of imagination. He describes love as a means to bring stability for the imagination with knowledge of transgression by inculcating a sense of limitation. It helps to retreat from the reality of free choice to prevent the madness of anger.

Nice thoughts in this thread.  Keep it up!

The image of the mirror can be distorted with filters, lights, camera's and actions.
Imagination is tied to memory and moved by something else...
Time and space of memory can be dislocated by imagination.
Silent and still it moves like a thief in the night.
The idea is to to send the light back with mercy.

Editing, redacting, and rewriting the gluttony that came before.
How about a bit or byte of virtual reality?
How easy is it to breathe within the cloud?
Learn to take note when love dictates.

One can learn about the past but one doesn't have to imitate it.
Letting the divine dictate the way with internal connection.
Silence is sometimes fitter than speech.

Use silence at your own risk.
Lest it be used against you....

State your rights immediately
