Tips for spotting trolls on the bigger forum stages...

Here's is a little guide on how to spot them as soon as possible mitigating their overall infestation period. Both complete fabrication and truths are very transparent and easy to spot. Some people love to spread lies therefore using this board and others for their own selfish agenda. We ask that you keep the following in mind when reading a new thread or post from any kind of social website.

If you feel a particular thread or post is suspect, first look at a board member's profile and see how many posts they have made thus far and how long they have been a member. This information reveals a lot. For example, if somebody is posting about something that happened on the board months or years prior then they are obviously a previously banned member. This also holds true if they make reference to a long time board member who might have a reputation for one thing or another. These are obvious "Freudian slips" which can easily reveal everything. Please report such instances immediately and they shall be dealt with immediate banning. Some of the smaller forums may take a little time in this.

If a first time or relatively new member make a series of replies to specific threads in a short period of time all with basically negative or even hateful remarks, this is an obvious troll. Please report this piece of trash as soon as possible. They won't be around that much longer and this is the only case when all posts are removed from the database.

More creative and probably the most pathetic are the ones who put up facade by establishing a misguided trust in order to gain advanced membership. Then they will engage in more clever methods of trolling posting threads designed to insight hateful debate or even political in nature. These members overall intent are both destructive and selfish in nature. This category of individual is dealt with in a rather nebulous and thoughtful manner certainly on a case by case basis. We appreciate the insight and reports received from various board members in the past and we hope you continue to help us weed these people out.

There are obvious variations of the above but this pretty much covers how to spot something that should be irradiated as quickly as possible. This is paramount in keeping all forums and chatrooms as friendly and helpful as possible. Sure we all have bad days and aren’t in the mood for certain redundancies.

HOW TO SHUT DOWN A PAID GOVERNMENT TROLL/SHILL

Many reading this might have heard the expression "don't feed the trolls," but that is not always the best way to go. Calling them out by forcing them to address the issue, pointing out their obvious avoidance of the issue itself and/or insisting, as ANP does, on civility on a thread, often shuts them down and forces them to crawl away with their tails between their legs after screaming you are against free speech.

The number one way to shut down a government paid troll/shill is information, linking to supporting evidence, continue discussing the issue itself and to not allow them to distract, manipulate or otherwise derail the discussion.

REMEMBER - TRUTH IS THEIR KRYPTONITE.

That particular industry has a huge lock on the economic politics concerning the moral standards it creates in our society. It's the proverbial cash cow of our economy. One that doesn't get the attention it should receive.

Yes, those are wicked little trolls. The pornobots included. They dig deep in their profiling techniques to get you to click on category after category. All with sub-categories to delve deep within the synapses of your brain. Turning on the profile wizard to accumulate all your likes and dislikes to better serve the customers needs. Injecting further venom by offering a googleplex of options to check in every box. Giving it power over your mind by sifting through your delicious vice! Ever greedy. Ever present. There to present you with a continuing addictive need to feed your mind and soul with rotten fish and worm ridden bread.

Those porn trolls are master fishermen...

I needed someone to put the worm on the hook for me.  (I've always been squeamish about such things.) Randy went on to tell me, with great patience, of a technique that would surely help me.  He said, "Practice makes perfect.  If you go down to the lake with your rod and put the worm on the hook everyday, little by little, day by day, you'll soon become a master baiter."

Oh the wonderful socks. Most of the time I wear the one. Ludicrous as it sounds I try to keep it clean. Sometimes I wear it for days. Gets a little dirty after a while so then I'll go barefoot and do the laundry.

Some socks are colorful.
Others are just black and that makes it hard to see the dirt.
White ones are cool right out of the box.

How are your socks today?
Are they mis-matched and double paired?
ohh oh oh...don't forget about them crocs.

Knitting your own socks. Now that's hard. It takes time and patience to stitch and link the threads. I see many others who create great socks. Even the dirty ones have a certain appeal. Except they tend to stink and nobody likes smelly socks. Maybe some do cuz they hates to do the laundry.
